Sophomore Libero Peyton Estes from McArthur, CA was stellar for the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, as FRC cruised to a 3-0 victory in the 2nd Round of the 3C2A NorCal Playoffs. Estes recorded 21 digs and frustrated the visitors from Modesto the entire evening. Newly minted All-American Setter Teya Gibbs from Chico, CA also had an outstanding evening, chalking up 38 Assists. The Golden Eagles (#3 seed - #1 Coaches Poll) will face San Mateo on Saturday, November 29th at 6:00 PM. San Mateo defeated Sacramento City in a highly contested 5 set match. (25-22, 21-25, 26-24, 17-25, 15-9). FRC will host, so we encourage all to be in attendance as the victor on Saturday will advance to 3C2A Championship Finals!
