The Golden Eagles Volleyball team opened Golden Valley Conference play at Butte on Friday, October 10th. Feather River College won the contest in straight sets (25-7, 25-13, 25-17) moving to 1-0 in Conference Play (22-1 overall). Sophomore Chloe Albiez finished with 11 kills while Teya Gibbs from Chico, CA led the team with 6 service aces and 14 digs. Sophomore Middle Blocker Mia Rivera had 4 kills and 2 service aces. The Golden Eagles will play next at College of the Siskiyous on Wednesday, October 15th. (Game time is 6:00 PM) The Golden Eagles will play at home on Wednesday, October 22nd versus Lassen College.
