The Golden Eagles Women's Soccer team opened the season at home on Friday, August 22nd versus Mendocino College. Sophomore Midfielder Lillian Pettersen from Yeppoon Queensland, Austraila was outstanding in the home opener and earned Player of the Match honors. Newcomer Isabella Stantillan from Williams, CA recorded a goal and an assist, as did England's Sophie Tabor (Freshman). Rafaela Anguiano, Caitlin Mary Farrel, Delliah Raley, and Olivia Driene scored FRC's remaining four goals. Sophomore Djolanda Holder from Petaluma, CA recorded two assists. The Golden Eagles play next on Tuesday, August 26th at Las Positas - Game time is 5:30 PM.
