The Feather River College Women's Basketball team earned a hard-fought victory over a tough College of the Redwoods squad, showing resilience, composure, and true team basketball down the stretch.
The Golden Eagles were led offensively by Vina Tom, who finished with 14 points and provided a steady presence throughout the game. In key moments of the game, Vianne Lee delivered in clutch fashion, knocking down two critical three-pointers that shifted the momentum in Feather River's favor.
The late-game execution was sparked by excellent ball movement, highlighted by great passing from Keziah Maldonado-Lemus, creating open looks. As the game tightened in the final minutes, Sataijia Warren and Ashanti Stewart stepped to the free-throw line and converted free-throws to seal the win.
