Sophomore Nina Taylor from Mililani, HI went 2-2 at the plate with 2 RBI in the Golden Eagles 6-4 win over San Jose City College (Game 2) on Friday, March 13th. Talynn Madrid (Boulder City, NV) decided to match Nina with her identical 2-2 and 2 RBI performance. A trio of pitchers for Feather River held San Jose to just four runs. In game 1, Brittney Byram held San Jose to just 3 runs as the Golden Eagles cruised to a 7-3 win. Sophomore Lily Lee from Carson City, NV went 2-4 with 2 RBI. Sophomore McKynlee Gay (Quincy, CA) finished the day with a pair of hits and a pair of runs. The Golden Eagles will play next at Butte on Friday, March 20th (Game times are 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM).
