FRC Hosts First Rodeo of 2022-2023 Season
Feather River College men's rodeo team wins hometown rodeo!
Feather River College hosted the first 2022-2023 West Coast Region rodeo on September 30th & October 1st.
This year had record attendance, the highest number of contestant entries, FRC Eagle's Roost concession stand raised record proceeds, and the men's team pulled ahead with the win. They are currently leading the region with 1,337 points (133 points over second place - West Hills). The women's team is sitting 6th in the region.
The following athletes are sitting in the top 5 in their event:
Caden Grisedale – 3rd in Saddle Bronc, 2nd in team roping(heeling)
Cobie Dodds- 1st in tie down, 3rd in team roping(heading)
Cole Dodds- 3rd in team roping(heeling), 5th in steer wrestling
Cody Stewart- 2nd in tie down
Kolton King- 2nd in team roping(heading)

Team Roping Header - Tyler Jones (Fresno)
Team Roping Heeler - Gavin Cardoza (West Hills)
Barrel Racing - Skylar Alves (Cal-Poly)
Breakaway Roping - Maddie Biglow (West Hills)
Goat Tying - Aimee Davis (Cal-Poly)
The FRC Softball team did a 50/50 raffle on Friday night for the Plumas County Women's Cancer Support Group.
The next regional rodeo is November 11th and 12th in Clovis, CA hosted by California State University - Fresno.
