Eagles Awarded Top Golden Valley Conference Awards

Quincy - Members of the Feather River College Golden Eagle men's soccer team earned post season Golden Valley Conference awards announced by Coach Conrad Gooley. Feather River finished first in the Golden Valley Conference with a 7-1 record. The Golden Eagles finished with an overall record of 11-9, with the season ending in the 2nd round of the Northern California Playoffs. 

Jack Cook, freshmen goalkeeper, started in 16 games for the Golden Eagles. Cook contributed to three clean sheets on way to earning Goalkeeper of the Year. Cook is from London, England.

Luke Quinn, sophomore defender, started in 18 games for the Golden Eagles. The veteran leader had 5 assists on the season on his way to earning Defender of the Year. Quinn is from Cobh, Ireland.

Devonte Richards, sophomore forward, started in 19 games for the Golden Eagles. Richards recorded 22 goals and 8 assists on his way to earning Offensive Player of the Year. Richards is from Bridgetown, Barbados. 

Tajio James, sophomore midfielder, started in 20 games for the Golden Eagles. James recorded 28 goals and 14 assists on his way to earning Most Valuable Player of the Golden Valley Conference. James is from Bridgetown, Barbados.
