First Round of Soccer Players Sign

Quincy, CA - The Women's and Men's Soccer Teams have 14 players who are eligible to transfer on to 4 year universities and the first five have inked their names to scholarships to continue their Student-Athlete experience.Brittany Wilkie (Victorville, California)is transferring to NCAA DII national tournament side University of Southern New Hampshire on a soccer/academic scholarship.McKay Leos (Frazier Park, California) will be moving on to Louisiana State University in Alexandria where Feather River Alum Jordan Correiarecently graduated.
The men's team has 3 inked so far withTom Kleywegt (Gravesend, England)who has chosen to head to McPherson College in Kansas where 3 Feather River Alumni have gone including Dinesh Prasad and Douglas Williamson who lead the Bull Dogs to the KCACconference title in 2014. Feather River wingerFederico Zamarripa (Tulare, California)will be heading to University of the Southwest, an NAIA institution who is regularly competing for a conference title in the Red River Athletic Conference in New Mexico. Lastly in this initial round of signingsTom Bentham (Bradford, England)has chosen to attend the University of West Alabama, an NCAA DII perennial power house who in 2017 was 16-3-1 and lost to one of the top teams in the country Lynn University 1-0 in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Announcements will be made shortly on the other 9 men and women who are still in talks with some of the top NCAA and NAIA schools in the nation.
