Golden Eagles Conclude Outstanding Season with Second Round Playoff Appearance
The Feather River College Golden Eagles men's basketball team saw its outstanding 2024–25 season come to an end on Saturday, February 28, falling to the San Jose City College Jaguars by a score of 78–64 in the second round of the 3C2A Northern Region Playoffs.
Despite the postseason loss, the Golden Eagles capped off an exceptional year that included a 22–8 overall record and a perfect 10–0 mark in the Golden Valley Conference, earning the program an undefeated conference championship. The playoff appearance also marked the second consecutive season that Feather River College advanced to the second round of the 3C2A Northern Regional playoffs.

A major contributor to the Golden Eagles' championship season was sophomore standout Damonte Duhart of Las Vegas, Nevada, who was named the Golden Valley Conference Player of the Year. During his two seasons at Feather River College, Duhart compiled an impressive 804 career points and 634 career rebounds, establishing himself as one of the most productive players in recent program history.
In the playoff contest against San Jose City College, sophomore Nick Fletcher of Sacramento, California led the Golden Eagles with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Freshman Zacarrion Jackson from Las Vegas, Nevada also turned in a strong performance, contributing 11 points and 6 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles' undefeated conference championship and postseason run highlighted a season defined by team depth, resilience, and consistent performance throughout conference play. With a strong foundation and the continued development of young talent, Feather River College looks forward to building upon this year's success in the seasons ahead.
