Golden Eagles Janerious Jackson has made his choice!
Sophomore Janerious Jackson has made his choice for next season - University of Nevada. Jackson has accepted a full scholarship offer as well as a lucrative NIL agreement to play next season with the Wolf Pack. Janerious rushed for 2484 career yards (20 games played) with the Golden Eagles. He will leave FRC as a 2X All-Conference Selection - 2X All-State Selection - 2025 Conference Most Valuable Player - 2025 American Division Championship MVP. Janerious came to Quincy from Atlanta, GA and when asked what memory stands out the most from his experience at FRC, he replied..."the first week, I was so homesick, I am so proud that I persevered and stuck with it. I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel." Janerious is a 220 lb. workhorse that carried the football 20-30 times a game. "I have watched you play for two seasons, I don't remember you missing a single game to injury, yet it is not uncommon for you to have 30 carries a game, what is your secret for staying healthy (Athletic Director, Thomas Armstrong) "Honestly, I know my body, I take care of myself and work really hard in the off-season. I believe my off-season preparation is instrumental and I make sure to take care of my body." Jackson answered. When asked, why UNR? Janerious simply replied that "It feels like home, my family feels like it is a good fit, and I feel like UNR is building something special and I can be that missing piece." Janerious Jackson is an inspiration and shining example of how a young man with a tremendous amount of dedication and talent can sieze and make the most of opportunities. Jackson will graduate this month and transfer to the University of Nevada in January. Congratulations to the University of Nevada football program as Janerious Jackson is one of the top 3C2A recruits for 2025!
