The Golden Eagles football team defeated San Joaquin Delta College 45-13 on Saturday, October 18th. FRC moves to 6-1 overall on the season and 2-0 in Conference Play. Freshman Quarterback Kayden Leaf from Red Bluff, CA passed for 115 yards and rushed for 89 yards on the evening. Sophomore Defensive Lineman Aiden Hall from Sparks, NV recorded 7 total tackles with two of those for a loss. Elijah Stafford-McNutt also had 7 tackles with one tackle for a loss, while Dylan Sumner electrified the home crowd with a 41 yard interception return. Janerious Jackson finished the contest with 114 yards rushing and 1 touchdown with Marcellus Clay adding 41 receiving yards and 37 yards on the ground. The Golden Eagles will play next on the road at Contra Costa College. (Saturday, October 25th - 1:00 PM)
