Seven Golden Eagles Earn 2022 CCCFCA Academic All-State

Quincy - Seven Feather River College football student-athletes earned California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) Academic All-State honors this week. The Golden Eagles tied for the most recipients of any program in the State of California, which consists of 67 football programs. 

Criteria for Academic All-State requires the student-athlete to have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher is thirty-six semester units accumulated from the beginning of their first season of competition in the sport of football.

Sophomore quarterback Daeden Taylor led the way for the Golden Eagles with a 3.86 GPA, while sophomores Julian Evans (DB), Gage Arnold (OL), Chandler George (WR), Juan Martinez (OL), Tyler Pico (DL), and Seth Anderson (WR) were also recognized.   

Taylor graduated with a Business Adminstration transfer degree and is currently attending Kansas Wesleyan University to continue his football career.

Evans, a 3.84 GPA Health and Exercise Studies major, is currently attending Midland University to continue his football career.

Arnold, a 3.82 GPA History major, graduated and is currently attending Dakota State University to continue his football career. 

George, a 3.74 GPA Business Adminstration major, graduated and is currently attending Upper Iowa University to continue his football career.

Martinez, a 3.67 GPA Kinesiology major, will be graduating from Feather River College in spring.

Pico, a 3.6 GPA Adminstration of Justice major, will be graduating from Feather River College in spring. 

Anderson, a 3.58 GPA Kinesiology major, graduated and currently weighing his scholarship offers to continue his football career.
