After high school, Jordan attended the University of Wyoming, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Science while also coaching the university’s women’s club volleyball team. He continued his education at Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo, completing a Master of Science degree in Animal Science with a focus on Reproductive Physiology. Following graduation, Jordan married his husband, Robee, and relocated to Fall River Mills, California. In Fall River Mills, Jordan was hired as the Head Volleyball Coach at Fall River High School, where he led the program for two seasons. During his tenure, he guided the team to two Division 6 NSCIF Section Championships, one NorCal Regional Championship, and an overall record of 50–11. In addition to his high school coaching success, Jordan founded the Intermountain Volleyball Club, which continues to provide affordable opportunities for more than 50 rural athletes to train and compete.
